In aansluiting op de onderstaande Botox-uitspraak nog een interessante Duitse oplossing in een zaak over internet jurisdictie: “IP carrier Level3 blocks website on router level. The US IP carrier Level3 has blocked access by German customers to a website and the IP address that goes with it. The website in question is a commercial "Snuff Site."The server bearing the content is housed in a Level3 computing center in the United States.

Upon inquiry the carrier stated that the site did not contravene US law, but that the customer had been notified that the content in question violated the International Policies of Level3. So far the customer had failed to take the server off the Net, the company added. Therefore Level3 had reacted by other means and had blocked access from Germany via the German Level3 router. As a consequence German access providers whose route into the US takes them via Level3 can no longer access the said content. Lees hier meer.
